Spectroscoic investigation of polarized sky light
in the world
Our own insensitivity to polarized light represents the reason why it is difficult for us to appreciate fully the polarized sky light. But,it is very important for us to understand the polarized light from blue sky , which gives us many important information about the atmosphere , that is , one of the earth environments. This investigation consists of three part , which are the visualizing problem of polarized light , the measurement of the degree of polarized light and spectroscopic device construction of polarized light.
Part 3: Simplified spectrascopic device construction of polarized light
Part 1: Spectroscopic spectra of polarized sky light
Spectroscopic spectra of polarized sky light in the world have been continuously obseaved for this four years in many contry such as Japan, Canada, United state,Peru,Finland and Austria,China and Taiwan by using Polaroid sheet and cellophan type birefringense sheet. The result obtained shows very beautiful spectra when blue sky is very clean and has high transparence at sunrise and also sunset.
Many kind of simplified spectroscopic devise of polarized light was constructed
by using the cellophane type birefringence sheet and radially arranged
Polaroid sheet ,which show us very beautiful spectra if the blue sky is
clean at sunrise and also sunset.
The degree of polarized sky light has been continuously measured for this four yeas, that is, every four season to obtain the fundamental imformation about the intensity of the spectroscopic spectra from blue sky and also the cleaness or the transparence of atmosphere. High degree of polarized sky light larger than 70 parsent often expectantly observed in winter in Japan.
